Positions

Abrasive Blaster:


The Abrasive Blaster prepares various metal surfaces utilizing a variety of abrasive blasting equipment including but not limited to traditional blasting nozzles, walnut blasting, steel shot blasting, glass bead blasting, etc.

 

Responsibilities include but are not limited to the following:

o  Blasts metal surfaces clean to prepare them for paint applications.

o  Grinds, sands, cleans or polishes objects or parts to correct defects or to prepare surfaces for further finishing using hand tools and power tools.

o  Observes machine operations to detect any problems, making necessary adjustments to correct problems.

o  Operates lifting devices, such as forklifts and cranes to lift beams, load, unload, transport or stack materials.


Spray Painter:


The Spray Painter sets up, operates or tends machines to paint a variety of metal surfaces, objects or structures.

 

Responsibilities include but are not limited to the following:

o  Prepares paints by mixing substances according to specified formulas.

o  Applies paint to prepared surfaces according to customer requirements.

o  Determines paint flow and coating quality by performing visual inspections.

o  Operates lifting devices, such as forklifts and cranes to lift beams, load, unload, transport or stack materials.


Powder Coater:


The Powder Coater sets up, operates or tends machines to coat a variety of metal surfaces, objects or structures.

 

Responsibilities include but are not limited to the following:

o  Weighs or measures powders.

o  Applies paint to prepared surfaces according to customer requirements.

o  Determines powder flow and coating quality by performing visual inspections.

o  Operates lifting devices, such as forklifts and cranes to lift beams, load, unload, transport or stack materials.



Material Handler:


The Material Handler operates industrial trucks and equipment to move materials around a warehouse, storage yard or facility.

 

Responsibilities include but are not limited to the following:

o  Operates lifting devices, such as forklifts and cranes to lift beams, load, unload, transport or stack materials.

o  Inspects product load for accuracy and safely moves it around the warehouse or facility to ensure timely and complete delivery.

o  Positions lifting devices under, over or around loaded pallets, skids or boxes and secures material or products for transport to designated areas.
